Dr. Paymon Rahgozar grew up in Los Angeles and is triple board-certified in the specialties of Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Hand Surgery. He is currently practicing at Elevate Plastic Surgery, where he performs a wide variety of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures focusing on the face, breasts, body, and hands.
Education & Background
Dr. Rahgozar attended University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and graduated summa cum laude with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics and a Minor in Spanish. He received his Doctorate in Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. He then began ten years of surgical training beginning at UCLA, where he completed a full training in General Surgery. He then spent a dedicated year of research investigating the immunogenicity of scaffolds for surgical implantation.
He subsequently underwent Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training at the University of Southern California, where he received broad training in aesthetic surgery, microsurgery, reconstructive surgery, and hand surgery. During this period, Dr. Rahgozar received mentoring from many well-known Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeons. He further pursued an additional year of fellowship training dedicated to hand surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
