With our septoplasty in Thousand Oaks, you can permanently correct your deviated septum to significantly improve your quality of life.
What Is Septoplasty?
Septoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to straighten the nasal septum, the thin wall of cartilage that separates your nostrils. This surgery is performed on individuals experiencing a deviated septum and the resulting symptoms, such as difficulty breathing through the nose, headaches, and nasal congestion.
During the procedure, Dr. Rahgozar will make an incision inside your nose and remove or reposition the cartilage and bone that may be causing the obstruction. The goal of the surgery is to improve airflow through your nostrils, which will, in turn, alleviate the many uncomfortable symptoms caused by a deviated septum.
